[the shells] are shaped by the shoreline: Each pair is made with real seashells, hand-collected from one of Cape Town's beaches. Chosen for their quiet irregularity.


A vintage metal star bead sits between a freshwater pearl and a softened driftwood bead, creating a layered composition that feels found rather than constructed.

  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing

  • Returns

    Each AKULA piece is made as a one-of-one, using natural or sustainably sourced materials and hand assembly. For this reason, returns are not accepted for change of mind.

    If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or breaks due to a workmanship issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs so we can assess the issue promptly.

    In these cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Once received, the piece will be repaired where possible and restored to its intended condition. The item will then be shipped back to you free of charge within one week.
