[the spike] earrings are shaped from upcycled abalone shards. Fragments already broken and discarded.

Each abalone spike hangs beneath a freshwater pearl, layered with small shell and stone fragments.

[the spike] plays with contrast: organic textures against fluid metal. Weight against motion.

Metal accents and fine chains move gently with the body, balancing softness and edge.

Care Instructions

Abalone, pearls, and natural materials are delicate by nature. To keep your piece beautiful over time:

  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, body oils and harsh chemicals
  • Remove before swimming, showering, or sleeping
  • Store separately in a soft pouch or cloth to prevent scratching and tangling
  • Gently wipe metal components with a soft, dry cloth after wearing

  • Returns

    Each AKULA piece is made as a one-of-one, using natural or sustainably sourced materials and hand assembly. For this reason, returns are not accepted for change of mind.

    If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or breaks due to a workmanship issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs so we can assess the issue promptly.

    In these cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Once received, the piece will be repaired where possible and restored to its intended condition. The item will then be shipped back to you free of charge within one week.
